Custom Orders

How far in advance should I book?
The sooner, the better! I’m currently accepting bookings for all 2025 dates.

How does the custom order process work?

  1. Place Your Order: You can place an order online for your preferred collection or reach out via email to begin the process. Payment can be made through the website or via e-transfer.
  2. Complete the Details: After confirming your order, you’ll receive a contract and custom order form where I gather all your flower details and design preferences.
  3. Send or Drop Off Your Flowers: You can either ship your flowers or arrange a drop-off at my private studio.
  4. Flower Confirmation: Once your flowers arrive, I’ll send an email update to confirm they’ve been received safely.
  5. Pressing & Design Prep: When the flowers are pressed and ready for the design process, I’ll send another email update to keep you in the loop.
  6. Artwork Completion: Once your artwork is complete, I’ll reach out to arrange shipping or pick-up.
  7. Enjoy Your Artwork: Your custom pressed flower art is ready to be displayed in your home!

How soon do you need my flowers?
I need to receive your flowers within two days of the occasion, or three days if shipping. If shipping, you'll need to send them on the first business day after the event. The fresher the flowers, the better they will press and retain their colour.

What is the expected turnaround time?
Due to the art of pressing, reconstructing, and designing, it takes over 15 hours to complete your artwork. During peak seasons, the turnaround can take up to 20 weeks, though it is often shorter.

What is the communication timeline like?
I will keep you updated at every stage! I’ll send an email when your flowers are received, when they’re pressed and ready for design, and when your artwork is complete. It’s worth the wait!

What is included in the price?
The price includes consulting for the custom order and all materials except for the flowers and frames. Shipping to and from the studio is an additional expense. If you would like a framed piece, please begin the Commission process.



Shipping, Drop-off, and Pick-up

Can I ship my flowers?
Yes! I accept flowers from all across Canada. If you plan to ship your flowers through your preferred shipping company, you’ll receive step-by-step instructions to ensure they arrive in perfect condition after booking. It’s best to research shipping options and pick the company you feel most comfortable with.

Can I drop off and pick up my flowers in person instead of shipping them?
Yes, absolutely! If you're located in Southern Ontario or would like to avoid shipping, you can drop off and pick up your flowers in person at my private Paris studio. The exact location will be shared after the contract is completed and payment is received. This is a wonderful option to save on shipping and enjoy a scenic drive to Paris.

How does the drop-off and pick-up process work?
Appointments for drop-off and pick-up are 15 minutes long with flexible booking options. Please arrive on time to ensure a smooth and quick handoff.



Artwork Design and Preservation

Do you accept inspiration photos and design requests?
Yes, I accept inspirational photos of Kettering artwork you love most. Unfortunately, I am unable to accept photos from other artists. Custom orders made for the Three or Five-Piece Art Collections are designed based on your custom order form responses. If you have more specific design preferences, I recommend the Commission option.

Do you offer framed pieces?
Yes, for commissions. Frames are not included with custom orders. However, if you’d like to send your own frames along with your flowers, I’d be happy to assemble everything for you. Our approach to framing allows clients to choose options that best match their style and budget. Whether you prefer a unique thrifted find or a high-end gallery-quality frame, you have the flexibility to stay within your budget while staying true to your interior design preferences.

Are we a good match?
It can be scary to hand over your beloved blooms! You must fully trust the process and love my style. Art is subjective, and while I take your preferences into account, I remain true to my creative process. It’s important to release control and allow me to work my magic! No revisions will be made to the final piece of art.

Do you need my entire arrangement?
Yes, the full arrangement is required. In some cases, if you’re ordering multiple pieces, extra flowers from bridesmaids’ bouquets or additional blooms may be needed to ensure only the freshest and most vibrant flowers are pressed.

Do you offer colour enhancement?
No, my approach is completely natural. I don’t use any chemicals or enhancements. The flowers are pressed to remove all moisture, which may cause colour changes over time, leading to a beautiful, vintage look.

Can you press already-dried flowers?
Dried flowers are more fragile and can crumble, but we can still create a meaningful piece of art. Please contact me with a photo of the dried flowers, and I’ll let you know what options are available.

Will the colours of the flowers fade over time?
Yes, the colours of the flowers may change or fade slightly over time due to natural aging. This is a normal process and adds to the heirloom quality and beauty of the piece.

Can I request a specific flower arrangement or layout?
For custom orders, I work closely with your preferences, but the final layout is part of my creative process. I strive to balance both aesthetics and the natural beauty of your flowers in every piece. If you have specific preferences, please select the Commission option.

How do I care for my pressed flower art?
To help your artwork last, it’s best to display it out of direct sunlight and avoid areas with high humidity. This will prevent fading and help the piece age gracefully over time.

How long will my art last?
Your pressed flower artwork is an heirloom piece meant to be cherished for years. Like any memento, it will age gracefully, with changes in tone and colour over time.



Gifting and Special Occasions

Can I gift a custom order to someone else?
Absolutely! Custom pressed flower art makes a unique and thoughtful gift. You can place the order in your name, but include the recipient’s details for the delivery.

Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! They are available for purchase online and can be redeemed on our online shop only (not in person).

Do you offer rush orders for special occasions?
Rush orders may be available depending on the time of year and my current bookings. If you need your artwork by a specific date, please reach out to discuss options.


 
Payments, Refunds, and Exchanges

What is your refund policy?
Due to the custom nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges, but we always strive to provide excellent customer service to ensure your satisfaction. Creative differences are not grounds for a refund.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept a variety of payment methods, including credit card, PayPal, and e-transfer for your convenience.
